What is Ducted Air Conditioning?
Ducted air conditioning, also known as central air conditioning, is a type of heating and cooling system. Unlike split systems that condition air in a single room, ducted units deliver conditioned air and complete temperature control throughout your entire home. Ducted air con systems consist of two main parts; an indoor unit in the roof space and an outdoor unit. These units work together with refrigerant gas to produce cool or warm air. This air is then circulated through ductwork and vents to rooms within the home. In some cases, zoning can be provided for the ductwork. This allows airflow to multiple rooms, and the ability to adjust the temperature in individual rooms.
A ducted reverse cycle air conditioner provides both heating and cooling to your home for year round comfort. It too offers zone control for optimal energy efficient performance.
Ducted cooling systems are suitable for a variety of homes and climates making it a versatile heating and cooling solution.
